As Congress continues to address our nation's public health response to the COVID-19 pandemic they have the ability to protect and enhance resources for critical populations.

The Promoting Alzheimer’s Awareness to Prevent Elder Abuse Act (H.R.6813/S.3703) is critical legislation which would require the Department of Justice to develop training materials to assist professionals who support victims of abuse living with Alzheimer’s and other dementia in order to improve the quality of their interactions with this vulnerable population, and help protect them from elder abuse.

Support for this legislation has been growing, but to keep up the momentum it is critical that your Senators hear from you today. Please ask your Senators to co-sponsor and pass this important legislation

We’ll keep you informed on how this legislation proceeds in Congress, and thank you for contacting your Senators Alzheimer's Association
